Pedro Antelo

Pedro began his career as an auditor with Moore & Stephens in 1987. During a prestigious and diverse career, Pedro has held senior positions across a number of major Telecoms and global construction groups.

In 2006 he joined the Board of Mota-Engil with oversight of the Group's corporate finance. He was also the CFO of Mota-Engil Engineering & Construction SA, CFO of Mota-Engil Africa NV (Construction Sector) and a Board Member of Ascendi Group SGPS SA (Road Concessions).

In 2017, along with a former colleague at Mota-Engil, Pedro acquired 100% of the share capital of the Elevolution Group (Elevo) a multi-disciplinary, global construction company with significant interests in concession and property assets both within Portugal and internationally.

At present Pedro is a Board Member of Ascendi Pinhal Interior, Ascendi Douro Interior, Marestrada Operações e Manutenção Rodoviária and Douro & Pinhal Operators. Pedro is also much sought after for his consultancy work and currently advises several companies and prominent institutions.

Pedro has a degree in Organization & Management and holds an Advanced Program in Finance from the Catholic University of Portugal, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
